Its called a slice of Hog Heaven’ and there’s no doubting why! Farm Sanctuary SA is the registered NPO where the inspiration is born, awakening a brush with the extraordinary for all who wonder through the impressive barn doors. Located in the magnificent Franschhoek Valley of South Africa, expect to be overwhelmed with solitude - this is a sanctuary, after all. Come and meet the farm animals between 11am and 4pm daily (365 days of the year!). Admission is free but donations are appreciated. Kindly note that there are no snacks currently available at the sanctuary (Unless you eat grass and hay!) but stay tuned because ‘OTT’ vegan brunches, art demonstrations and wine-tastings will be introduced by the end of the year!
